I waited 3 months for the London to Brighton Route so I was delighted when it was released. The add-on is the first UK route made by Aerosoft. The add-on is supplied with 4 locomotives. These include a Thameslink & South Central class 319, a South Central class 377, Network Rail MPV and a South Central Class 455. These locomotives are highly detailed as is the route itself. In order to view the route in its highest quality however, you need at least a 64MB Graphics card with at least 256MB of RAM.

The route includes 28 stations and these include, Victoria Terminus, Gatwick Airport, East Croydon and Brighton Terminus. These are also many sidings. The game has got a few errors and bugs in it but if you register the add-on, there is a patch that is available to download which fixes these errors. There are 15 activities to keep you amused and European Bahn have promised that new activities will be added to their website.

Overall, this a great add-on which is well worth buying but it does require a very high specification PC, with at least 1GHz processor and 550MB of hard disk space.

This is a wonderful addon for you Train sim equipped FAST computer. OK you can run it on any old hack but when I recently bought a new 3 ghz 1 gram PC boy did those trains slip around. Amazing to see that apparently you drive the latest train with just one handle! Pull to go , push to stop. . . Honestly. Anyway the route is very accurate (I live in Brighton and regulary use the line. The great terminuses are wonderfully rendered and riding passenger as you glide out is amazingly like the real thing . .as presumablly driving it is but I have never been in the real cab . Lots of good touches and some interesting locos to drive. What more do you want. Buy it.

I bought the first version of this add-on ages ago and when i first loaded it up and ran MSTS it crashed shortly after the little adverts at the beginning (never got to choose anything). needless to say, it went promptly back to the shop!!

The version i bought from here appears to be an updated version as it has 1.1 on the disc. i loaded this up on my PC and has worked fine.. does crash a bit during game play... i have also found that one of the routes has a red light that you cannot pass!! it does also have a few crashes during the gameplay asking to send error reports.

i have now put it on my laptop and it does now what the first version does.

if you can't avoid buying, then please bear in mind what i have said.
