Product Description

Product Description

Headhunter: Redemption is the gripping story of Jack Wade, a veteran Headhunter keeping order in a futuristic world overrun with unchecked consumerism, vicious organized crime and mind-controlling mass media. When Jack and his protégé, the sassy, streetwise Leeza X, stumble upon an arms smuggling operation that threatens the status quo, they must work together to deliver an oblivious world from impending catastrophe, confronting their darkest fears beneath a chilling shroud of evil that blankets the city.

Taking place in a world divided, Headhunter: Redemption features two disparate, symbiotic realities--"Above" and "Below." "Above" is a glittering metropolis of glass and steel towers, whose citizens are controlled by ever-present media and the powerful corporations behind it. "Below" is a subterranean colony, home to criminals, undesirables and misfits, sent down by the society "Above" to work in return for the right to survive.

3.0 out of 5 stars Pain in the A***E Puzzles stop play !!!!, 18 Dec 2004
By A Customer
I bought this game on release, and was very impressed by the graphics and atmospheric music, the one let down that i have found is the fact that just when the action is getting frantic and hotting up the makers stop everything so that you have to complete yet another series of BORINGLY FUTILE tasks in a totally repetetive series of puzzles, this makes what would have been a great action game somewhat like a futuristic cross between Tomb Raider and Syphon filter, without a walkthrough guide i can see some gamers abandoning the game or just getting plain bored and moving on to something more faster paced, after all this is meant to be an enjoyable futuristic action game, not an examination to join Mensa.Another Gripe is the amount of time it takes the game to load on the PS2...talk about slow, you can go and make a cuppa while it is doing its stuff.

3.0 out of 5 stars Headhunter Redemption = A Great action game !, 20 Jun 2005
This sequel to the 2002 game Headhunter is incredidble...! The controls are improved a hundred percent and the graphics are amazing. The story is very intelligent and well scripted. The music is full of atompshere and the voice overs are brilliant.
The levels and missions are nicely detailed and the boss fights are very challenging.I found Headhunter Redemption to have some of the best science fiction ideas and concepts ever created. The characters, locations, weapons and items look like they were planned carefully by the developers. Their is no bike gamplay elemements in this installment, however this hardly matters since Headhunter Redemption is a still a superb creation.

Graphics (9/10)Superb details and creative lighting effects.
Sound (8/10) Impressive atompshere and sound effects.
Gamplay (8/10) Improved Camera and fighting styles.
Story (9/10) Itelligent plot and twists.
Overall (9/10) Truly a master piece that deserves another sequel

1.0 out of 5 stars Terrible......, 14 Jun 2005
By A Customer
I bought this game expecting an action packed thriller, wow was I dissapointed! All the levels are pointless and repetitive and gets VERY frustrating after a while. If you want a game packed with action and suspense look away now, if not this may be the game for you...
