1 star as it looks good, the rest of it is terrible.

First problem, the ticking of it is incredibly loud and I had to put it in my bedside cabinet so it did not drive me to distraction

Second problem, it lost 15 minutes the first night, lost none the 2nd, lost 30 minutes the 3rd and then 5 hours!

Threw it in the bin.

Like it's looks and love the tick which is the main reason I brought it!
Trouble is cannot sustain its tick over a 24 hour period unless it is put on it's face. I have had the clock from new some two weeks ago so this is just not on!
I am holding on to it as the soothing tick lulls me to sleep whether it's on it's face or not. Keeps reasonable time which together with it's tick which is the reason for only two stars!

The clock arrived dented and, although the clock was in working order, the alarm did not function. The seller was great when I called to report this : they sent me a replacement along with pre-paid packaging to return the faulty clock. The alarm on the new clock worked for 3 or 4 days before it too ceased to function (as if it is overwound). Its a real shame because the clock looks really good - its just very poor quality.
