CD Description
This 3CD set brings together each volume of the Birmingham act's 'Labour Of Love' trilogy. The series - on which the band perform cover versions in their idiosyncratic upbeat reggae-pop style - began in 1983 with an album that spawned 'RedRed Wine', a no.1 single on both sides of the Atlantic. 1989's vol.2 included the UK top 5 hit 'Kingston Town'; and 1998's vol.3 delivered a top 10 hit in the shape of 'Come Back Darling'.

While it seems too simple to say this is just all three LOL UB40 recordings put together, that's exactly what this is. Most of us have scattered pieces of their music on tape or even vinyl. Here's a chance to hear it all on CD in one place. It's still fun music, the voice is still worth its weight in gold and it brings you back to your youth.

great collection of ub40's 3 labour of love albums.
great songs, although all reggae love songs and none of their political tunes, i still loved the sounds
