Don't think like I did that it is pop videos - it is not. It is live appearences on TV.
Also the first 5-10 seconds of every video is removed and has the 'Disco Inferno' graphic so quite a lot is lost & is really annoying.
OK if you want the audio and like something on screen, but definately not one for pop video collectors.
Good selection of music & the quality is excellent.

I am only half way through this video but i think its hilarious and very surreal! Most of the acts are performing on a german tv show called Musik Laden and the audience dont appear to understand the music because they are all sitting very still while the disco tunes are performed, other than that, i love the songs, even if some of the miming is pretty bad. Good blast from the past though.

Thankfully, this is not a compilation of musty old videos, but is a collection of late 70s/early 80s television appearances by various artists, most if not all from the German TV show Musik Laden. Picture and sound quality are excellent, and this is the ideal DVD to party to on a Saturday night. Prepare to be amused by Alicia Bridges lip-synching "I Love The Nightlife", rooted to the spot by an enormous pair of platform boots which apparently have lead soles. In view of the DVDs title, it is odd that the Trammps' classic is not included, but there are enough disco gems out there to (hopefully) bring about a second collection, if not a third, fourth and fifth.
