I enjoyed this undemanding middle of the road comedy. I also liked the much reviled Whole Nine/Ten Yards.

It's well enough made and the cast is likeable. I think a lot of the stuff that annoyed other people didn't bother me. Also it's strange to see one of the Soprano cast members playing an idiot.

I'm not saying it's good. I'm just saying that although it's obviously not technically good, my own inner critic really enjoyed it and I plan to watch it many more times in the future. I must admit I'm talking from the point of view of someone who likes the Police Academy movies and 80's comedies like The Couch Trip.

The script is shallow and the acting so wooden I got a splinter watching it. The funniest thing is seeing them all talking about it in the extras as if it was something of substance. Really, did no one stop at any stage and say 'guys, this is really, really bad.' Pretty faces is not enough.

this film was really panned by everybody, but after watching it with my boyfriend even he actually enjoyed it! its a entertaining film to watch if youre a perry fan and are in a mood where you dont want to think too much. claire sweetland
