As often with Pinback, half of this EP's songs are mediocre, the other half are amazing. At the start you get the great pop song 'Microtonic Wave' which sounds a bit like Supertramp. And the EP ends with the great super-fast-pop 'B' and the 11-minute 'Grey - Machine' that starts a bit boring but after a few minutes it turns into a classic epic-style Pinback song.

My personal advice: if you're interested in this band, pick up other work like 'Blue Screen Life' first.
