5.0 out of 5 stars An excellent DVD with some fine episodes, 7 Jul 2003
Volume 29 of the long-running sci-fi show 'Stargate SG-1' contains some thrilling episodes that continue to mould the unfolding saga.

In 'Sight Unseen' Sg-1 begins seeing things in a parallel reality. Sam comes up with an amazing explanation!

In Smoke and Mirrors, the 'NID' story arc gets continued, with an assassination attempt on Senator Kinsey. A great whodunnit? storyline that keeps you in suspense.

'Paradise Lost' ties up the Colonel Maybourne story arc, with o'Neil and Maybourne stuck in an alien paradise.

'Metamorphosis' ties up the Goa'uld Nirrti story arc, and we get to see what she was really up to. A great way to end that particular thread of episodes.

All the episodes on the disc leave you content that you have got your money worth's here: not a single bad episode.

3.0 out of 5 stars Sixth Season of Stargate SG-1, 11 Jul 2003
By A Customer
I was a little disappointed with this season, it seemed to have lost something of the humour of the previous seasons... Still some good story telling, but not the best season...

4.0 out of 5 stars Yet another Stargate SG-1 goodie, 27 Jun 2003
Just a little over halfway through Season 6, and MGM have delivered yet again.

Episode 13: Sight Unseen. Sg-1 return with a device of Ancient origin, but whilst examining it Jonas starts to see all manner of strange creatures. Is Jonas losing it? Has his previous exposure to Naqadriah caused him to suffer the same fate as his old professor?

Episode 14: Smoke & Mirrors. Senator Kinsey is assassinated, and Colonel Jack O'Neill is seen leaving the building the shot was fired from. Could the bad blood between them be that bad? Or is Jack innocent?

Episode 15: Paradise Lost. Colonel Maybourne (or Harry as Jack likes to call him!) offers to trade the Stargate address and "a key" to a planetful of alien weaponry. The price - A Presidentail pardon for his crime of treason. And is Harry to be trusted anyway?

Episode 16: Metamorphosis. Nirrti is back, and still continuing to try to create the perfect host. Having set-up another research centre on a previously unexplored planet, she meddles with the DNA of her subjects. SG-1 arrive to save the day, but can they save the people when the don't want to be saved? And just what powers has she given her subjects?
