Longer lifetime and more stable capacity over multiple charging cycles due to the use of high quality branded cells.

Gold plated contacts protect against oxidation and produce optimum current flow. Monitoring of charging and discharging currents is carried out by the built-in electronic protection circuitry in order to avoid any damage to the cells.

Additional short circuit protection is provided by the use of polyswitch. The polyswitch is positioned directly next to the cells in order to avoid any damage caused by high temperature.

I am using the Ixus V2 with a 256 MB Compact Flash card. I realised that for lenghty journeys it would be very practical to get an additional battery. This battery provided a good alternative, quite economic and does the job, I am happy with it!

I bought this additional battery a few years ago and even though i have given the camera to someone else, i believe the battery is still working reliably. the capacity is slightly more than the standard battery and it was cheaper so it is good value. This will save you a lot of money instead of getting a branded Canon one.

Since nothing has gone wrong with it, so i can highly recommend.
