good stuff, but Scorcese isn't bothered about spoilers - expect to be told the story and ending of most films discussed. That said, you can walk away with a passable knowledge of the standard classics of Italian cinema without seeing them, though some films discussed make you want to seek them out, eg Europa 51, which is quite hard to get hold of unless you are fluent in Italian.
