5.0 out of 5 stars "Dont Let Go" of this little gem, 24 April 2003
By P A Taylor (Willenhall, West Midlands United Kingdom) - See all my reviews
David Sneddon returns to the charts with a brilliant follow up to his debut no 1 single. With soaring strings and strong piano led dynamics and infectious chorus this is sure to be another deserving hit and a great advertisment for the forthcoming album. This is one artist who is here for the long haul.

5.0 out of 5 stars Superb Follow up single, 4 April 2003
By Allison (Basingstoke) - See all my reviews
David's debut single hinted at what we might expect the future to bring & he has not disappointed at all. I cannot stop listening to this on the preview TV channels, it is such a powerful song giving David's almost perfect clear tone another fantastic outing. I cannot wait for the Album if the rest of his songs are half as good as this it will be a classic & a sure fire number 1. David Sneddon certainly is going to be an Artist for all the others to follow in the future, he has a long a prosperous career ahead of him & if he keeps writing songs up to this standard he will be up there with his idols ( The Beatles).

5.0 out of 5 stars David Sneddon is here to stay!, 9 Jun 2003
By A Customer
This second single from David Sneddon proves to the world that he is a talent that is here to stay! Don't Let Go is a sweeping ballad with a rockier edge to it than his debut success Stop Living The Lie. The opening bars of strings and the great piano riff that you'll have stuck in your head for hours, automatically strike the right chord with a listener. The orchestration is not unlike that which would be featured in a film soundtrack - this could be coming soon from Mr Sneddon, after rumours that Kevin Spacey wants him to write a soundtrack and is it any wonder?!

There's no real "chorus" in the song as such as David sings each "Don't Let Go", it seems to just build upon each verse to great effect. Then when you think it's all over, there's a fab drum fill leading you into the soaring lyrics all over again. Absolutely fantastic, showing David's songwriting and musical skills off in a great light.

The B sides to this single are also definite single material. "She Needs To Know" is a good mid-tempo rocky song while "The Longest Time" is an amazing slow ballad featuring just David, his piano, and an acoustic guitar played by John Kielty. Both of these songs have been written and produced by David himself in the studio and the quality is outstanding.

I give this CD 5 out of 5! A must have!!!!!
