A very attractive game for the younger player.Excellent graphics with detailed characters and scenes, atmospheric sound and music which never becomes annoying, and a well pitched difficulty level make this great to play. As you follow closely the storyline of the book, you interact with characters who assign you quest tasks. Your abilities improve as you progress and collecting gems builds up your courage points to give you more health. You also collect silver coins throughout which can be used to buy equipment upgrades and health/antidote potions etc, (very useful when you get poisoned by spiders). There are different puzzles to solve in each area and the save-points are so well judged as to avoid unecessary frustration, e.g. after battling through a tricky section for 10 minutes and seeing off that last mean goblin, with your health almost critical, you usually find a save-point thereby avoiding a slip round the next corner resulting in a complete restart of the section. My 9 year old son is really enjoying it and with 4 game save slots available I've started a game myself. Probably not suitable for hardened gamers, (e.g. Resident Evil players), but great fun for the rest of us.
