I got this film for some Drunken Boxing.
Simon Yuen is one of my favourite martial arts stars.
Everything starts well, the two main characters are students for Simon Yuen (who surrprisingly has a very small role), these students are rather comical throught out, after getting in trouble with some thugs after they won cock fighting.
On the run they discover a new master.
Here is the problem. This film is called "The Drunken Master Strikes Back". What the main characters learn is Iron Back, which need much endurance of the back.
Good film but I was disappointed in the lack of Drunken Boxing, more like none at all.

Everything you would expect really, a kung fu comedy with very little plot or character development!

Everything about this film is made to be pretty bad, the acting, the sound effects, the comedy, the plot, and even the awful dubbing (including the quite ridiculous voices)

If you like these types of film then you will enjoy this, but if you are looking for anything else you are likely to find this film awful (personally I enjoyed it!)

The problem with this film, like so many others, is that you can see it has all the potential to be a great movie.
The ideas are well founded and the plot could be interesting but the american dubbing makes the whole thing a joke.
The characters themselves and their relationships with each other are undeveloped which adds to the frustration.
The fight scenes are well done, however the lack of music gives them a drawn out feeling and the "Thwack!" sound effects as the 'Heros' punch, or move their hands through the air simply make the film seem even worse - however I would recommend getting it for the general hilarity value and authenticness

Boring doesn't do this film any justice, more like extremely boring would be more appropriate. Simon Yuen, the main reason why anyone would want this film, hardly features.
