5.0 out of 5 stars a stunning debut, 7 Jul 2003
"We Travel Fast" is a wonderful album. It's songs cheeky, irreverent, clever, rich in melody, and the arrangements so damn lush. The singer from Chungking has an enchanting, beguiling (if you will) voice, that is at turns hypnotic, sultry and compelling. There are a host of influences hinted at as you lose yourself in the album, but by the time you finish listening to this album once, you are left in no doubt that you are in the company of Chungking and nobody else. It won't get much better than this, this summer.
