TomTom Navigator couldn't be easier to use. You simply enter your destination - even if you are unsure of the correct spelling - and you place your Pocket PC in the holder supplied. TomTom Navigator then does all the hard work for you. Based on your current position, TomTom Navigator works out your best route and provides clear on-screen directions and verbal instructions. You won't need to touch your Pocket PC again - until your next journey.

While travelling, TomTom Navigator constantly monitors your route. If you deviate from the suggested route because of traffic or roadworks, for example, TomTom Navigator automatically suggests a new route for you.

TomTomTom Navigator software is quick and easy to install on your Pocket PC using a computer. The system fits easily into your car using the holder supplied. Even if you already own a GPS the TomTom Navigator software+maps version supports your NMEA 0183 compatible or Sirf compatible GPS Receiver connected to your Pocket PC.

You can enter your destination in a number of ways. You can choose to point to somewhere on the map as your destination or you can create a list of your regular haunts, such as "Home" or "Office". Alternatively, you can choose your destination from a list of your most recent trips.

The TomTom Navigator software includes a completely digitised roadmap system. Working together with an extremely precise GPS receiver, which uses satellites to indicate your position automatically, the software frequently updates you as to your whereabouts by displaying your position on a map.
