Kodak's EasyShare Printer Dock 6000 is the easiest way to create Kodak-quality photos with your EasyShare camera. Simply dock your camera, press print, and you'll have a 4 x 6-inch photo with the brilliance and durability you expect from Kodak.

You can even hook up the Printer Dock 6000 to your TV for easy slide show viewing. Just like the convenient EasyShare camera dock, the Printer Dock 6000 transfers pictures to your PC in just one touch and charges your Kodak camera's battery.

The Printer Dock 6000 is compatible with Windows PCs and Macs, but a computer is not required. It's compact enough to take anywhere, so you don't have to wait until you're back home to start printing.

The Printer Dock 6000 uses Kodak colour cartridges and photo paper (with Kodak XtraLife laminate coating) to produce prints that are highly durable, waterproof, and tear resistant to last a lifetime.

The quantity of paper exactly matches the quantity of archival dye with the EasyShare colour cartridge and photo paper kit. It all works together so you'll always know how many more pictures you can print. And because the printer dock is based on Kodak's continuous tone thermal dye transfer process, you can count on getting stunning photos with vivid colour.

When I bought this item with a Kodak EasyShare CX6330 camera, I was reluctant to actually buy it. When I got home I plugged it in and was amazed at the ease of how to use it. You plug 2 cables in and it's ready to use.

I took a couple of tester pictures on the camera and put it on the dock. I pressed a button and it printed within 20 seconds on the sample glossy paper it came with. If I'd have taken it to a professional developer, I doubbt it would have look as good.

In the pack come 2 rechargable batteries for the camera, 15 sheets of sample glossy paper, ink cartridge, paper tray, USB cable, mains cable and a T.V link cable.

The downside to the dock is that, say you buy a CX6330 camera and make your own little video, the problem is that you have to unplug the dock from the computer and the mains cable, move it to near a t.v., replug in the mains and plug it into the t.v. Then you have to set up the t.v. for the dock.

But if you want ease for downloading the pictures into your computer or printing them, buy this.

THIS LITTLE PIECE OF KIT IS THE BEES KNEES IT DOES ALL IT HAS BEEN CRACKED UP TO BE AND HAS THAT CONVENIENCE OF SEE IT SHOOT IT PRINT IT AND ITS DONE NO MESS NO HASSLE AND BY THE WAY I AM 72 YEARS OF AGE SO IF I CAN DO IT SO CAN YOU. ANOTHER FACTOR IS AMAZONS PRICE IT CANT BE BEATEN BELEIVE ME I TRIED

After getting a kodak easyshare camera for Xmas I looked around the shops for the docking station and printer to find that it is priced at around the £200 mark, therefore a bargain for £150 on amazon.co.uk.
I received it last week and found it so easy to setup and use, and the quality of the print that was produced on the paper that came with it was as good as a normal photograph.
I think a lot of people expect digital prints to be somewhat grainy or very pixelly. I can wholeheartedly say that the quality of the print is great. This has to be the future of producing photos. Not having to pay for 35 prints and only have about 2 decent ones. What a much better idea to actually just print the ones that you want to.

If you have a compatible camera, I would recommend that you purchase this piece of equipment.
