A truly fascninating and in depth review of one hundred years of one of the top clubs in Scotland. From the early days of playing in black and gold strips to the red of today this DVD truly reflects the history behind this great club. Covering the Alex Ferguson golden era from the late seventies to the late eighties where trophy's were regular visitors at Pittodrie,before Ferguson left for pastures new at Manchester United with the DVD including an introduction from the man himself. The DVD also includes the full ninty minutes of the great Cup Winner's Cup fictory over the mighty Real Madrid in the wet Gothenburg Arena, May 11th 1983, without doubt Aberdeens finest game for which the 20 year Anniversery is up and coming and what a way to remind yourself of the glory days than to sit down with some friends and relive it all, both the ups and the recent downs.

I have been an Aberdeen F.C. fan for all of my 31 years on this planet!! As well as being a Season Ticket holder for the last 16 years I also own EVERY video + DVD about the club which has ever been released!! But much to my delight + astonishment, when I wathched this DVD I saw numerous clips from yesteryear that even I have NEVER seen before!!! The 1st disc contains a complete club biography. You also have the added bonus of a 2nd disc-which features the complete "Cup-Winners Cup Final" match from 1983-which itself makes this DVD worth buying!! So if like me you are a "Dandy Don" then this is a MUST have DVD!!!!
