Synopsis
One of the most popular progressive rock bands of the late 1960s, Procol Harum landed at the top of the charts all over the world with their hit song A Whiter Shade of Pale. Melding thoughtful lyrics and an artfulness lacking in many of their peers, the band's high-energy blues style earned them a large, devoted fan base. This release captures their live appearances on German television from 1966-1971, performing such classics as Homburg, Quite Rightly So, A Salty Dog, and In the Wee Small Hours of Sixpence.
