Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3, 16 Dec 2003
After the first two games in the series the team at Neversoft had to pull out all the stops to create another great gaming experience for skateboarders and non-skateboarders alike. There are plenty of new tricks, including a number of new freestlye tricks, making for great combos. But one of the biggest additions in the game is the revert, allowing the player to continue with a trick off a 1/4 pipe, instead of just finishing the point-scoring combo when you land, you have the ability to continue it. It still has all of the old skaters, but with one new addition-Bam Margera from MTV's Jackass. the soundtrack is also still as good as ever. This game is a brilliant addition to the Tony Hawk's series, with brand new, amazing levels to play, and great graphics. A game definitly worth buying.

Joypad recommended! Pretty hot conversion, 14 Aug 2004
Obviously most console owners would be quick to turn up their noses of any game designed for them that appears on the PC. However, this performs pretty well. Buy a joypad before you buy this game, highly (in the clouds) recommended, and after configuring the buttons to suit (Make sure you get a pad that has at least 8 buttons, similar to the playstation pad is a good guide, Saitek make a pretty good one) and you're rolling! Building up huge combo's gives you such a great feeling, like you can go on forever! However, unless you're particularly fond beating highscores until the early hours, after you've completed this game, there's not much to do. It seems a bit easy, especially if you've played the previous games, which leave only 'landing tricks' to add to your arsenal. That said, it was a great way to spend a few days working through the levels, and as it's pretty cheap, it's worth a shot!
