When I received this, unheard, I thought I was going to be disappointed, since apart from the music from the film's dance scenes, there seemed to be lots of (selected) dialogue from the film. However, these thoughts were soon dispelled. The dialogue seems to flow between the music, there are songs that don't make it to the film, and I wasn't frustrated at all(although my tolerance is high as I'm such a Devdas fan). And the music itself? Well, I think it's breathtaking.

Every single track from this soundtrack is unique in its own way. Not a single song can be confused for another. Unlike other indian love songs, Devdas music has deep meaning with a fantastic beat. Devdas can be played time after time.
