Excellent toothbrush, 14 Jul 2003
I recently brought this brush, I thought it was quite expensive for a toothbrush, but I had heard good things about it and I take my dental hygiene very seriously. In the end it came and I have been using it a while now and it was a extremely good decision for me to buy it.
It reeks of good manufacturing, it is solid and seems very reliable, which I have heard it is. It is a tad big, but not overly large, it can still be handled easily, even by those with smaller hands. It has a handy ergonomic grip as well, which is handy so it doesn't slip out of your hand..
The brush emits frequencies which get rid of plaque and bacteria which normal brushing wouldn't. It does 31,000 turns a minute, and you can barely see the head moving.
The noise it makes is a medium buzzing/vibrating sound which isn't actually too bad.
You would think it would be too rough for your teeth and especially your gums, but it is actually quite soft, especially for your gums, and after many brushes it keeps increasing in power while you get used to it more. it leaves you with a satisfying clean feeling in your mouth that often normal brushing doesn't.
It has an integral timer, which tells you when to move on to another part of your mouth, and the brushing stops after 2 minutes, the recommended time for brushing. The brush heads screw on to the main part which is very handy because I've found with many other electric brushes the vibrations tend to make the head come off, not with this one though.The only downside I could think of is maybe having to clean the parts of the brush now and then to get rid of toothpaste and keep it working to its full potential, but I haven't had to do this as of yet.
Overall I am very pleased with my purchase and think it is well worth the money. It does actually whiten your teeth, which will make you feel better about yourself and encourage you to smile more. :) This brush is excellent for anyone who takes pride in their dental hygiene, or anyone who suffers with bad breath or teeth/gum problems. Advantages: * Really cleans your teeth and feels you leaving fresh and clean.
* Gentle on gums and sensitive teeth.
* Whitens your teeth eventually.
* Well built and very reliable.
* In-built timer.
* When fully charged lasts for 56 minutes brushing (28 brushes or 14 days or 2 weeks). Disadvantages: * A bit big.
* Brush heads more expensive than other electric brushes.
* May have to clean toothpaste out eventually.
