This has to be one of the funniest kung fu films that I can remember, and the title stays true to its word there are plenty of ninjas in this film and three of them are the bosses! But it doesnt stop there, they are guided by the dreaded Abbot white who desperately wants to destroy the shaolin temple. It all begins with Abbot and Long Wu a top shaolin kung fu fighter having a quick row (and get this, the reason why Abbot is so annoyed is because Long Wu "accidently pronounced Shaolin before Wu Tang" and thats as far as I know is the reason for the amount of carnage that follows).
Anyway after the quick aguing the fight begins and Long Wu is the winner (for the moment anyway). So Abbot disappears and we then see him performing some sort of ritual (more like black magic) on two girls and absorbs their "souls". From there Abbot turns into some invincible figure and decides to test his new powers by having his men attack him with spheres, swords and an axe!!
With his seemingly invincible skills he joins forces with the Yeho Ninjas and they destroy the shaolin temple, but some survive and go in hiding to prepare their offsprings for future battle!!
Strangly (for a kung fu film that is) there is quite a bit of nudity and sex and naturally all of them involve the sadistic Abbot white who actually likes to test his "other skills" before killing them!!
But the real fun begins when two young fighters (the sons of the shaolin survivors) are constantly training for their revenge and once they master the "shaolin finger jab" (the only technique that can defeat the Abbot) the action kicks off big time.
Why is it funny? simple, a sword gets thrown into a ninja and the blood is spurting so fast that you can actually see its coming from inside the sword!!

ok the cast isnt so bad on this movie , but jack long , mark long and lo rei have bben in some other great flicks which excell beyond this to a great level. Movies such as mystery of chessboxin , 7 grandmasters , born invcible ..which have the long bros in it.

What fooled me was that its says on the back , from the makers of shaolin vs lama [ which is a total masterpiece ]..however it seems the makers totaly couldnt be bothered here. Next thing is that this is low budet movie [means not much , due to the big success of independant movies in martial arts]..

While watchin this movie you can basically see the wire work on screen lol , whcih will bring in some laughs. The next thing is that even the costumes look real shite at times ..lol at the ninja in army convos while this movie is set like in the 17th centuary.

But most of all this movie CAN bore the average kung fu fan to death. Some scnes in the film have no relevance to the plot what so ever at all and theres loads. By the time the movie reaches the part with alex lo rei , who was superb in shaolin vs lama ....its evident he cant save the movie ..

Credit goes completly to the bad guy , jack long whos a great actor ..

This is the type of movie you would see on hmv shelves for £5 not much qualty ..off amazon you could by better movies for the same price...

for jack long films

i strongly reccomend 3 classics

THE MYSTERY OF CHESS BOXING

SEVEN GRAND MASTERS

BORN INVINCIBLE

this movies correct name is ninja hunter ....it wont impress most , I have many kung fu films which are more low budget than this and are better.

IF you are looking for top budget films which are highly succsessful in the old school martial arts films ...

then look no further than sammo hung / leung kar leung type of movies.
