I hadn`t seen this excellent film for quite a while but remembered that it had a lasting effect on me. It my be an old cliche but beauty IS only skin deep for true beauty is in the heart...see the film. I came across this one accidentally in a record store recently. Being a film score fan, I forked out as my curiosity got the better of me.Certainly not a soundtrack for the fainthearted. The main theme is juxtaposed and re used in two or three subsequent tracks. The main theme is fairly morbid and haunting but on the upside there are some beautiful orchestrations on here too. Shuffle this cd with the original score from `Candyman` and you won`t sleep for a month for fear of things that go bump in the night!
