4.0 out of 5 stars Worth it for the bonus feature!, 20 Jul 2003
The Queen films themselves are quite dated now and aren't the kind of thing you would want to watch more than once, but the bonus feature on the DVD is really good and makes the DVD much more worthwhile! The short documentary on the making of We Will Rock You (The "rock theatrical" at the west end, Dominion Theatre) is really insightful and shows a load of snippets from some of the big numbers. I've seen the show 4 times myself and it is incredible - after 15 months it is still at the top of the West End ratings and rightly so. The cast are about to change, and it is really good that there is video footage that documents such a strong ensemble at the beginning of the show's west end run.

I've given the DVD **** - The actual videos are quite pants and should have been bonus features on Queen's Greatest Hits I DVD (they're only about 30 mins long altogether) rather than being the main feature on a single disc. I would rate them ** alone, but the documentary has buffed it up to 4! If you know of a DVD rental shop that has it in stock, rent it first before buying it.
