Britain's answer to Philip Glass, Michael Nyman here delivers another spellbinding work. One of his most overlooked scores (and most Glassy), this is nonetheless among his finest work. Reminiscent of Glass's work on 'The Hours' (Glass stepped in when Nyman's original score was rejected)- this is dark, mournful and bewitching and a match for the American master.

If you are a Nyman fan you won't want to miss out on this gem.
