I recently purchased the Uniross Ultra Fast Charger and now I don't know how I did without it. It's simple maths really, you can either spend a fortune on batteries or spend a single ...[payment]... and get a fast charger that's supplied with four large capacity batteries.

I use this for my Pocket DV2 camera which eats through batteries like there's no tomorrow but now I don't have to worry about my camera cutting out when I least expect it.

As well as the ability to charge four AA or AAA batteries in approximately two hours, the charger also comes with a cigarette lighter adapter to use in your car so you can charge your batteries as you drive.

If you're in the market for a battery charger, you might as well spend a little extra and get the best you can. I thoroughly recommend this product.

This charger is an absolute godsend, the thing that I am most impressed by is the the life of the batteries, they last every bit as long as the typical expensive batteries I normally get, if not longer. It has saved me tons of money over the last 6 months. Typically charges a set of 4 batteries in 2-3 hours. The only downside that I can see to this unit is that I orginally wanted to buy it to take travelling but while the unit itself is very small the mains adapter is quite large and heavy (for travelling purposes), but the car adpater is small and lightweight which give me another option. Would buy another one to replace.

I bought the Uniross Fast Charger to charge the batteries in my digital camera. And it does exactly that with no fuss at all. What else needs saying? I will therefore give my observations. Its a nice looking charger and doesn't look or feel cheap in any way. It comes with an in-car adaptor that I find very useful for topping up my camera's batteries on the road when I've forgotten to do so at home. I've also taken it camping with me to charge up batteries for my minidisc player ect... I simply plug it in and pop it in the glove compartment for twenty minutes.

The only point I'd change on the charger is the compartment that holds the batteries during charging. The batteries really have to be snapped into place with what feels like slightly excessive force. I'm guessing this is to ensure the batteries dont get knocked out of the charger if its being used in in a rally car or such hostile environment! This may be of benefit for some, rest assured that the batteries will not fall out at the slightest knock.

All in all I'm completely satisfied with this charger and feel its well worth the money. If I ever break it, I'll defintely get another one.
