Having heard a live performance of the Op80 quartet, I was just looking for a recording so I could hear it again, rather than finding the best recording to last a lifetime.

Nonetheless, I am very impressed by the performance on this CD. Energetic, intelligent, and well-recorded. Great value for moeny too.
