Lets begin.

I want to just clarify that I am MASSIVE fan of the hellraiser films and many other 80's and now in fact 00's for the two new HELLRAISER Films are made. Watching these films, even for the most gore horror lovers is very, very difficult. These films are REAL horror which you don't get alot today. They are so Gruesome and Repelling, from start to finish. But I love them somewhere along the line I have come to adore them, even though I hate watching it. It's Mad!! Now I've told you what the films are like we shall move on to the soundtrack (score).

All the soundtracks for HELLRAISER 1,2,3,4,5,6 and New* 7 and 8 are so Similar they all have that same opening theme which to be honest is wonderfully orcestrated. Alot of the music in the first 2 films is digital but because clive barker has mixed the two together so, so well you cannot tell the difference at all. My personal favourite song has to be the cirus theme its just so creepy. If you have a 5.1 or DTS surround sound studio these CD's will sound FANTASTIC. If you have a stereo sound system without Dolby Digital or THX do not bother for you won't be able to hear a single note being played because its so loud and so many instruments are being played so quickly and so melodically.

All three scroes, remastered and in a nice presentation box with booklet. The scores are excellent, the first is outstanding for a low budget film. None have sounded so good before either. A brilliant remastering job. The first disc, Hellraiser, has to be up with the great horror scores of all time. Very creepy, atmospheric and disturbing with lots of menace. Only 3000 of these sets have been released WORLDWIDE so buy it FAST. It's a very small number and bound to become a real collectors item in the near future. A great release of great scores.
