The Kenwood FP476 Gourmet Food Processor has a generous 1.3 litre capacity dishwasher safe bowl and lid with twin feed tubes, a high-speed liquidiser ideal for blending soups, drinks and the like, a high-grade stainless-steel knife blade for precise chopping and thorough blending and a simple one-piece construction bowl with smooth lines for easy cleaning. It has no loose parts, no fiddly assembly and no food traps.

The easily located bowl makes for hassle-free cooking and a safety interlock prevents the motor from starting unless the bowl lid is correctly positioned. The safety finger-grip on the knife blade ensures secure handling, keeping fingers away from the blade and a useful cord-storage feature reduces trailing flex on the worktop. The FP476 also takes a wide range of inclusive and optional attachments for all food-preparation needs. It comes with double-sided reversible shredding and slicing discs for compact storage, an inclusive dough tool and a fine-shredding/slicing plate. The FP476 will take 1.36 kg of cake mix, 1.3 litres of liquid (when fitted with maxi blend canopy) and will liquidise 1 litre. It has a chrome and black design.

This is an excellent piece of kitchen equipment. Used properly it should last for years. Note: The plastic blades are for dough only.

This is quite a good food processor, however, my only complaint is that it's not for "heavy duty" mixing. I've had to replace my plastic blades 3 times in the last 6 months and you can't get metal blades for mixing ingredients.
