'Welcome Crummy Mystics' is the second album from Frankie Sparo, and his third release for Constellation Records. Produced by Godspeed You Black Emperor's Efrim, the album combines Sparo's folk tinged songwriting with musicbox melodies, modern jazz ballads, and full men's choirs, giving the album the experimental sound that Constellation is associated with.

every noise frankie sparo makes is achingly beautiful; unusual since his creaking, throaty drawl is unlike any other singers in my collection. his lyrics, particularly those in 'my sistr' and 'this lie' make me so sad yet i have no idea what they're about. the cathartically disjointed solo on 'back on speed' always brings a smile to a face which by the end of the short album is weary with emotion. these sentences could be in any order, as could frankie's songs. it's too pretty to worry about cohesive discourse.
