Techno/Rock/Thrash/Dance/Industrial/Trance Music, 23 Aug 2005
So many styles have been incorporated into this album, it's impossible to put some of the songs into any particular genre. There's something here for everybody but at the same time, no-one will like the whole album. I'm into rock and I like this album, but I will skip half the tracks on here because they are dancey numbers, but my dad will skip the heavier stuff AND the dancey stuff and listen to the ballads. My friend will skip the rock and the ballads and listen to the dancey numbers. There's something here for everybody, but you will skip probably 5-6 tracks depending on your particular taste. With some of the tracks, I'm reminded of Slipknot and Manson, (Frozen, Own Little World, One Good Reason, Switchback, Stay With Me), others I'm reminded of Basement Jaxx (Stars Of Orion, Welcome To The End, The Last Firstborn, So Sorry To Say), and strangely I'm reminded a tiny bit of the old ballad makers Guns n Roses and Bob Dylan (Under My Feet). But this album is a real treat. You get some of the best hard rocking tunes I have ever heard. This was produced by a legend in the hard-rock world! This dude produced Slipknot's EP (MATE.FEED.KILL.REPEAT.) which got them noticed by Roadrunner Records. It's just a shame that no-one seems to have noticed celldweller as this band has real potential in so many different scenes. I can see this music being place in Rock clubs, dance clubs and Underground Clubbing. This could be played at any of the major festivals (Download, Glastonbury, V-Festival for example). I would seriously recommend that you check these guys out, but bear in mind that you won't like every track (even if you have super-diverse tastes in music).

INDUSTRIAL DANCE ROCK METAL - WOW, 2 Dec 2004
Never before have I heard such interesting industrial based music. This is an absolutely stunning peice of work. Even track 4, which is largely dance based is absolutely breathtaking. This is actually my favourite track, so many different sound styles on one track which goes on for 7 minutes 30 seconds, but never gets boring. In this track alone you hear Prodigy, Slipknot, trance, industrial and more. There are also some mellow tracks on here, I usually skip the mellow songs on my rock/metal albums, but not on this one. Every track keeps me interested. I am still in shock at how much of a musical genius Klayton is. If you like industrial, dance, or rock and metal, you just gotta love this.

More than breathtaking!!!!, 10 April 2003
By A Customer
These days, albums come in and out of mainstream. Sum 41, Linkin Park, Limp bizkit and yes, Nine Inch Nails were ONCE mainstream. Based around industrial rock, Nine Inch nails hit the fans hard with their "beautiful noise" line. Celldeweller mastermind Klayton attempted to copy this style of music and failed immenesly leaving a "trent reznor" wannabe person on him. Klayton returned claiming that his nxt project will be stunning and that it is. Taking the best bits from Tool, Nine Inch Nails and nu metal "Celldweller" makes Linkin Park look effortless. A breathtaking album none the less and should attract any "art-rock" fans as this little cd contains immense beauty. So by all means buy Linkin Park - Meteora and compare these both and realise the effort put in to this fabulous record. Deserves to go mainstream.
