This review is from: Oscar [VHS] [1991] (VHS Tape)
This is Stallone's best film. He plays a gangster promises his dying father that he will go straight. Nobody is ready for this. Local bankers want his money. Local law enforcement wants to make a pinch. His accountant wants a raise. His elocution instructor (Tim Curry) is eyeing his daughter. His maid is moving up in the world. The Finuccis have him covered. Several black bags are exchanged. And who is Oscar?

It's all to do with a promise to a dying man. Snaps (Stallone) promises his father he'll go legit, and intends to keep his word. The only problem is that he doesn't know how to earn money legally. His henchmen don't have a clue, his accountant is trying his luck at getting more money out of him, the maid seems to be doing a little too well for herself, and the police think Snaps is planning something big. And if that wasn't enough, his daughter is pregnant to Oscar, but who is he and where is he? Very funny and good to see Stallone in a role thats funny and not trying too hard. Highly recommemnded

The video was in good condition and the delivery was good. There was about 6 or 7 minutes of another film and adverts at the beginning of the tape?????????????
