I recently bought a new PC with a TFT screen and was very impressed as this type of monitor. It is far more elegant than an equivalent CRT version. The old PC was to be used by my daughter and her grandfather but space was limited. So we decided to replace the old 17" CRT monitor with a reasonably priced 15" TFT Screen. The Relisys 561 seemed to fit the bill as it was one of the cheapest I could find. The picture is excellent - clear and sharp and good viewing angles - and I could find no evidence of failed pixels (either on or off). Viewing a DVD was OK even though these monitors are not designed for moving images.

There were a couple of niggles. The installation instructions could be more helpful on plug and play. Under Windows 98 it was more like plug and hope - an intelligent guess for location of drivers was required, then set resolution to 1024x768 and a reboot and it was fine. The other point was that the stand seems a bit flimsy when compared to my Dell TFT monitor but this is minor when you consider that the Dell cost [...] more.

If you are looking for a reasonably priced TFT screen then this is worth a look. Overall I'd give this 5 stars on value for money.

As a bonus, I ordered it on a Tuesday to be delivered via Amazon's Free Delivery Service (with plus 3 to 5 days on delivery). It was despatched on the Thursday and arrived Friday.
