5.0 out of 5 stars Buy this album!, 20 Oct 2003

The third album from Guano Apes is an absolute, infectious joy to listen to. In essence, it's moderately heavy rock with strong, melodic female vocals; it has punk, pop and funk overtones which all merge seamlessly into a CD you won't be able to take out of your player. Highlights include soaring opener 'You Can't Stop Me', fast-paced 'Kiss the Dawn', and moving 'Pretty In Scarlet'. There are plenty of changes in tone and tune to keep you interested, but the overall impression is of an exuberant band at the top of their game. Buy it.

5.0 out of 5 stars The best album out from the best band to exist, 4 May 2003
By A Customer
Guano apes are an amazing band with a compleatly original style i have never heared before. Hard rock, metal and some funk with an amazing lyrical content to support the unique style.
I havent been able to put the album down since i bought it over a week ago and listen to it repetativly and never get bored with it. I'd have to tell everyone to read the lyrics not just listen to the song because they are almost perfection. has you can tell i like the album....

5.0 out of 5 stars WOW!, 27 Oct 2004
A fantastic Album - this shows that GA have matured into a really interesting band. It differs quite a lot from previous work as this is is more metal/hard rock based rather than their older more crazy material. But still Sandra throws out some amazing melodies , but again like the older stuff she still has loads of agression that creates an unreal amount of energy. The guitar work is also mightily impressive, the riffs are huge whilst in other places are very melodic and calming. The best German alternative band without a doubt.
