Product Description

Manufacturer's Description

James Bond 007: Nightfire for the Game Boy Advance will take players higher and deeper than ever before. As Bond, players will operate in the Austrian Alps, a Japanese high-rise, an island in the South Pacific and even in a zero-gravity space station to defeat the evil criminal mastermind Raphael Drake. Nightfire offers a deep gameplay experience that stays true to the Bond universe. For the first time on a handheld system a Bond game is seen through a first-person perspective. Adding to the legacy of the Bond universe will be the use of Pierce Brosnan's image for the Bond character. Nightfire features a variety of missions filled with the action, stealth and spy-craft gadgetry that Bond fans expect. Players can blast through each level using weaponry or rely on tricks and gadgets to accomplish objectives and maximise scores.

5.0 out of 5 stars This Game is Brilliant, 27 April 2003
By A Customer
I have had James Bond Nightfire for the Gameboy Advance for 2 weeks now and the first impressions were very good. You can set the difficulty to not extremely hard but hard enough to keep you on your fingertips for hours on end or hard which believe me follows it's name. I think it's an excellent game because it's based on the same missions as the PS2 game but it has about 10% less baddies. Its worth your money if you've watched or played James Bond and enjoyed it. The controls are easy to get the hang of and it has no loss of features from the PS2 controls eg. manual aimer, change weapon/gadget, sidewalk etc. Overall, an amazing find for me and I hope it will be for you. Hope this review has helped you in anyway.

4.0 out of 5 stars Y'Know this isn't too bad!, 2 April 2003

Imagine taking the Xbox/GC/PS2 version of nightfire smearing the screen in jam and then playing through the game randomly there you go thats GBA Nightfire. Ok not quite, practically everything present in the console versions is in this game apart from the driving. All of the levels are scarely similar in size and detail and there is quite a good range of weapons and gadgets to play with.

The graphics are superb (apart from the opening title screen!) with full textures and people who look like people unlike Ecks Vs Sever. Everthing is pretty solid and colourful although the weapons look a bit deformed at times. The music is great and will have you whistling the familiar tune all throughout.

Overall its a great game with a good range of levels and objectives to keep you occupied on a journey, no multiplayer but they've put the extra space to good use.

Only big problem is that its difficult to get used to using the GBA SP due to its ultra sensitive D-pad.

5.0 out of 5 stars A challenging game!, 29 Jul 2004
Night fire is a game for people who are ready for a tough challenge. If you are not very good at gaming then you shoul try a different game. The graphics are really good for the (GBA) and the characters look very realistic. The levels are really cool with lots of objectives to do.
