4.0 out of 5 stars A great new talent, 7 Jan 2003
I always resisted talent and reality TV shows but slowly became hooked into Fame Academy by the sheer talent and personality of the contestants. These really are some potential starts rather than the sugar-coated manufactured papa of Popstars or Pop Idol.
David Sneddon was by far the most talented song-writer amongst the group. This debut sibngle shows just how good his material can be - a beautiful, moving and melodic styart to what should be a long musical career. Lets hope that his album fulfils the talent that this single and his appearnces on the show suggested he was capable of.
Following on from Billy Joel and Elton John, this man could be the next bif thing for those of us who like our music tuneful and our lyrics thoughtful.

4.0 out of 5 stars Think about life...., 6 Jan 2003
By Stephanie Pickett (Nantes, France) - See all my reviews
Although this song being released is mostly due to a TV show, which could make people predjudiced about it, thinking it's not going to be very good, I think David Sneddon has real talent, and he was only 17 when he wrote this. If you listen properly to the words of this song, they really make you think about life. It's about people who are worse off than most, and you feel like you want to reach out and help them. I can't wait for the songs he'll bring out next.

5.0 out of 5 stars Don't let the 'Reality TV tag' put you off., 20 Jan 2003
By Kelly (Lancashire, United Kingdom) - See all my reviews
Don't let the fact that David Sneddon got his first big break on a reality TV show distract you from the fact that this is actually a pretty good Debut single. It's a good strong pop ballad with a catchy chorus. The song shows off a powerful, melodic voice and has lyrics which are not sickly-sweet as so many ballads are. The fact that he wrote the song when he was only 17 and has been refining his song writing talents in the 7 years since suggests that the debut album due out in the spring is worth waiting for with some anticipation.
