bought one of these for my palm tungsten E pda.
was a little concerned that at such a cheap price for so much memory that it might not be any good but i have been pleasantly surprised.
no probs, got 490Mb once the card was formatted in the pda and it has been faultless. i've loaded all sorts of data onto the card including mp3 files, photos, microsoft documents etc and they have all worked without any hitches.

one other money saving tip - along with the card i also bought a 7 in 1 usb card reader from amazon for about £10 and it has worked faultlessly too. makes it quicker for transferring files from laptop/PC to card rather than the pda's hotsync.

when you consider the sky high price of sd cards of this size from well known brands, this card is an absolute bargain. i would recommend to anyone

I'll keep this short and sweet.

The card is well made and cheap for the 512mb SD.

The downside is that although I was expecting some storage pre-useage, I only can see 480mb when the card is in the camera (IXUS IIs). I have also read a review in PcPro which says that the ByteStore HiSpeed cards (Amazon) have much quicker write/read capacities which you may notice if you need the bandwidth for video etc. I haven't seen any difference in the speed while taking photos.

Enjoy - its a great card for a good price. I'd buy another.

Purchased this card 3 weeks ago & it works perfectly ! NO data loss, fast data transfers & formatting etc.
I have a Pentax Optio S3 3.2-megapixel digital camera & a Toshiba e400 PDA, it works perfectly with both. When I got it, put it straight into my Pentax S3 & card was recognised without the need to format, offered me well over 200 pics at 1024x768...!!! took about 175 snaps, copied the lot to my PC then deleted the entire folder from the PC(approx 10 % quicker than from camera itself)all pics transferred perfectly. Put card into PDA...Recognised straight away with over 508mb available. Top Product, Excellent price (possibly the cheapest on the web at the moment...)
