I bought this DVD because I have the Bellydance for Fitness Basic Moves workout. I like this because it is like a dance class and not a fitness class. The program flows very smoothly. First Neena and Veena show the whole routine that you (the student) will learn. Then they move onto doing a warm up, then the upper body steps, lower body steps and then a section called Choreography. You go through the routine very slowly, and then build up to tempo. Then the last thing is to do the routine without the voiceover cues. The DVD has some bonus performances by three other dancers and as well, you have the option to go through the program without the voiceover cues so when you are more comfortable, you just use the music and watch them. All in all, a nice light and fun way to learn bellydance with a different emphasis. I have been learning it for fitness for the past few years, now I want to learn how to actually perform.
