Depends what you want, 8 Jul 2003
For those PES2 fans who are fed up with the false names of clubs and players due to licensing reasons, and cannot be bothered to go through and manually change everything, which could take hours, then this cheat CD is the answer. Or perhaps you support a team in the Premiership which is not in the game like I do (Spurs), and wish to play as your team. Then, again, this disc is highly recommended. But there are some problems as well. Firstly, a lot of players are incorrectly updated, especially their nationality. Virtually every country now has a player which does not even belong to them. For instance, Sergei Rebrov now plays for Holland instead of the Ukraine, and Jamie Redknapp is Spanish not English. This type of mistake is a bit too frequent in the cheat CD. Secondly, when using one of the teams in the Premiership that has been added in, the commentator will not say their team name (usually), and the player names announced are those of the team which has been copied over. For example, instead of saying 'Southampton', the commentator says 'South Africa'. It's not a big deal, but people should know about it before purchasing this disc.

NOT THAT GOOD!, 5 Sep 2003
I got this CD because it had all the Premiership teams in. But after playing it all Datel have done is typed over other less fashionable teams eg Olympiakos (replaced by West Brom Alb). Do not play this with commentry because when for example a West Brom player is on the ball the commentator says the original typed over name (Olympiakos player), this is very annoying. Also, included is the Datel Utd team which I think takes the realism of Pro evolution soccer away, because there are 46 year old players playing like Ronaldo and I have found its impossible to beat them (all their ratings are 99/100). This isn't sour grapes cus i can't beat them but as mentioned the realism goes. Plus points - All Premiership teams.Bad points - lost the likes of Olympiakos. Cocks commentry up Datel Utd - impossible!

Makes the best footy game even better!, 11 Jun 2003
The one niggling gripe about PES2 was that the names of the teams and players bore no real resemblance to the real-life counterparts. For instance, Barcelona were called "Catalunya", and all Dutch players were called "Oranges" followed by a number. Even if you could be bothered to change team and player names manually (unfortunately, I was sad enough to try), you couldn't change the way that the commentators pronounced the names (Giggs was still called Greggs and when I tried to "create" Wayne Rooney, the closest I could come was "Runiz" for pronunciation).I received this Cheat CD as a birthday present - and what a present! Now when I score a goal, the commentators cry out "Liverpool!" instead of "Europort!" (much better, I think you'll agree). Not only that, but players are now given their correct names and, upon using one of the cheats to unlock some additional teams, I have managed to transfer Pele and Maradona into my team! Absolutely fantastic! In short, a "must-have" for all fans of PES2. Having correct team and player names may seem like a small thing, but it does grate after a while. Having this Cheat CD has definitely increased my enjoyment of PES2.
