This is the creation following the popular Ray Dream Studio software by Metacreations before Eovia bought the software. This program's name really doesn't do it justice. It's "basic" in the sense that you can get up, running and animating within minutes but is no-way basic in it's potential. Eovia also makes Carrara Studio which has a few bits and bobs like skeleton creation. The layout of both programs are identical so whenever you feel like moving up to Carrara Studio there's no need to learn a new program from scratch! The results are professional-looking and, I know it sounds cliche, but you're really only limited by your imagination. I was amazed at the amount of natural effects such as light cones, fire, earth etc which I've never found in a program this low-priced. To jump start your creative-ness there's even a CD of 3D Clip Art which is fully edit-able and animate-able! There are also endless plug-ins on the internet for this such as Tree-simulation, grass and fur etc. This program is the future of low-budget animation. If you don't believe me, check out Eovia's site and look at the sample work. It's truely breathtaking! Buy this now!
