If you're looking for a digital stills camera that leaves other models in the dark then the Eclipse 2.0 is your sun, moon and stars. At 10.5cm x 6.5cm x 3.4cm you'll be delighted to hear that the Eclipse dispenses with the 21st century penchant for matchbox sized miniaturization and measures roughly the size of a deck of cards - neither so small that you need a magnifying glass to find it nor so fiddly that you can't operate it without pushing all the buttons in one go!
The most extraordinary thing about this camera is the impressive 2.0 Mega Pixel resolution, (which can be interpolated up to 3.1 Mega Pixels) producing 7 pictures at 2048 x 1536 pixels, 16 pictures at 1600 x 1200 or 60 pictures at 800 x 600 pixels (on the internal memory!). It also has and SD slot for extra memory and features true video recording (60 seconds with 16MB memory card), a webcam function, automatic flash, self timer, digital zoom, TV output and can be used to store data.
