Put out as a precursor to their UK Album releases [two, previously only available in the US] this EP made my heart melt like no other this year. The swaying, soothing, yet strong country-rock being harvested by these Tennessee chaps is something the world needs more of. Recorded in one of the members empty barns[!], you can almost feel the grain vibrating into every note. A brief, but fair encapsulation of the bands sound, even though a higher proportion of their material tends to be on the mellower side of things. I still can't figure out how these bearded wonders manage to rock out so hard live...
