And as such will more than likely not receive the extensive airplay it deserves, but what’s new! This is definitely one of the better tracks from their recent album, ‘Turn off the Bright Lights’.

Again what holds the song together are Paul Banks’ wonderful vocal style (yes, he does sound a bit like Ian Curtis!) and the deep, bassline which reverberates the whole time below the atmospheric sounds above.

The playing is tight, and the song is short, all the hallmarks of a good song then. If you like Joy Division, Gang of Four, Talking Heads or Television then you’ll definitely hear echoes of their work in here.
