This boxed set contains five discs of pure delight: Two are of The English suites (one disc, the first, won a Grammy), the third is Perahia's fabulous Goldberg Variations and the last two are the solo keyboard concertos. Each disc on its own would cost around fourteen pounds (as priced here on amazon.co.uk) so the saving is fantastic. It is worth bearing in mind that there are no poor discs here in this box, each is brilliant in its own right (the Goldbergs gets rave reviews).

For those who like Bach on the piano, this is a quite indispensable collection. The quality of performance and the sound quality is magnificent. I owned various versions of these works before but I play these exclusively now.
