Synopsis

Five adventures with the Transformers.

From the Back Cover

The great war has ended. Unicron has been defeated, the Decepticons have fled and the Autobots are victorious under the command of a new leader.

In the midst of the celebrations, the Autobots are suddenly attacked, leaving the Decepticons the obvious suspects. But the Decepticons are in bad shape, low in energy, without a leader and fighting amongst themselves.

Who are the mysterious attackers? Find out in these five epic episodes as the Transformers face a new enemy and the truth of their creation.

Running time: 110 minutes approximately.

5.0 out of 5 stars Five Faces -The second best Transformers story ever!!!!!!!!!, 10 Nov 2002
By J. P. Sparham (Retford, Notts United Kingdom) - See all my reviews
(REAL NAME)
This epic 5 part adventure is easily the best story the original cartoon produced. The only story better is the movie which 'Five Faces' follows on from directly.
The animation might seem a little dated now but these eps features some of the best characterisation seen in Transformers (Rodimus's self doubt,Grimlocks gloating at the decepticons plight and Galvatron's insanity to name but three).
It is also the only story where the Quintessons come across as a real threat.
Shocking revelations about the Transformers origin (differant to the comic version),a quick cameo from (the dead) Optimus Prime and the first appearance of Trypticon are just the icing on the cake.
These 5 episodes contain more enjoyment than all 17 eps of season 1 (which are a little dull).
Every TF fan should own this!

5.0 out of 5 stars Five faces of darkness, 8 Jul 2004
By James Mcintyre (Nottingham, Nottinghamshire United Kingdom) - See all my reviews
The five faces of darkness is a fantastic. It starts of straight from where the movie ends. The Autobots now have a new leader due too the death of the mighty optimus prime, and the decepticons are weak and without energon, they have no leader and fear for the worst.
This DVD also features a couple of new characters which adds to the spice. But the best is finding out how and who created the transformers which is gripping and had me on the edge of my seat.

So all you transformers fans out there get this DVD its a must if you've seen the movie and are gagging for more action.

These 5 episodes are the beginning to the 3rd season.
After the end of the cybertron war the transformers celebrate in another planet but are attacked, the decepticons are weak in another planet while Gelvatron team try to find him and when they did he became even meaner.
This is a very nice set of episodes and i highly recommend this dvd
