When I first bought this I was a bit wary of it, what can this show that a season review can't? By the end I realised, it shows you EVERYTHING a season review doesn't. Top drawer interviews about the problems with Gerard Houllier's heart and Markus Babbel's illness are excellently put together, along with a magnificent part about the Hillsborough tragedy, bringing tears to my eyes. This film takes you inside the club at the pre-season training camp in Switzerland, and makes you relieve the emotions of the season gone by more than any season review could. From the ecstacy of the victory over Roma, down to the despair in Leverkusen everything is in here. The use of local bands to provide the backing music is also a good choice, with excellent renditions of Heart as big as Liverpool and You'll Never Walk Alone adding to the enjoyment. This is, in my opinion, quite simply, THE best Liverpool FC video I have ever seen!

Great action, music and the story of the 2001/02 season.

Excellent features on Houllier's illness, Hillsborough and how Markus Babbel struggled back to fitness.

Most of the goals from the season are shown.

My only criticism of the DVD is that the pre-season element is actually pre-season for the 2002/03 season and not 2001/02. How do I know this ? Diouf, Cheryou and Xavier are all present.
