Characters include SpongeBob SquarePants, Jimmy Neutron, Invader Zim, Otto and Reggie Rocket (Rocket Power), Angelica and Tommy Pickles (Rugrats), and Eliza Thornberry (The Wild Thornberrys). Nickelodeon Party Blast includes five game types with multiple levels, themes and bosses. The interactive environments, objects and hazards are all based on various Nickelodeon TV shows. The game supports up to four players.

The Nicktoons characters have come together after receiving a mysterious invitation to a totally wild, ultra-competitive all-out Nick party game featuring eight Nicktoons stars. Anything goes in this star-studded multiplayer challenge. Kids play as their favourite stars as they slam-dunk wearing inline skates, race through Nick-themed environments, squirt Gooze and have an all-out food fight--all while trying to get the highest score against as many as three of their friends.

I bought this game amongst others for my four year old daughter to go with her new xbox and as a bit of an introduction to the gaming scene.

Well this is the one she keeps going back to and is easily her favourite, not just because she recognises characters from 'Cartoon Network' but because it's a real hoot and the slapstick nature of the games will appeal to any child.

No one explained the rules to her but she has easily grasped it and improves on it all the time (I don't know them myself so don't expect anything technical from me!!!) When her 10 and 13 year old cousins pay a visit, this game will always recieve a good deal of attention from them even though they are more into the older stuff but like I said, this game is a real laugh.

There are not that many Xbox games available at the moment for younger kids but I would definately reccomend this one for four year olds and upwards.

I have been trying to get this game for the last 4 months for my 4 yearold son. The reviews I had seen were good and the recognisable characterswere a bonus.
Initial impressions? - The game seems very dated. The soundtrack (if thatis what you can call it)is very basic, I had at least expected some of the themes from the programs. The images are small so it is difficult tomake out what it is you are doing (we have a 32" TV as well). There is somuch going on on the screen it is difficult to make out what it is yourcharacter is supposed to be doing.
Maybe we have just been spoilt with the standard of gaming that is nowavailable nowadays?
