I've never been a huge fan of Spanish music. However, since Operacion TRiunfo (along the lines of Pop Idol) came to Spain sweeping everything with the strenght of a storm, nothing's been the same in the Spanish music scene.

David Bisbal certainly was the second best voice to come out from that show, his voice is similar to Luis Miguel's but it sounds more fresh and new. This guy has an amazing personality and a brilliant voice. Even if you've never tried listening to music sung in other languages, this CD will surely suprise you. It definitely worth the money, one of the best CDs i've bought in years. It has many powerful ballads as well as latin dancing songs very much in Ricky Martin's style but with a better sound and better vocals.

I don't think i need to add anything else but that I'm completely captivated by David Bisbal's voice, and you should buy this album, sooner or later you'll hear of him i'm sure.

He won this year Latin Grammy award for best newcomer and he got a nomination for best album, so it's more than proved that it's the album of the year in spain with more than 1,200,000 copies sold.

Definitely buy this album! David Bisbal has an amazing and captivating voice. This album is a great buy. From upbeat numbers such as Llorare las penas and Ave Maria to heart-wrenching ballads like the truly sublime Digale, Vuelvo a ti & Por Cuanto Tiempo, you'll listen to it time and time again. Timeless classic! Buy it!

David Bisbal was one of the winners of a song contest in Spain, much like Pop Stars. But!!!, before you all groan, the C.D. is really worth buuying, although probably only if you are able to understand the Spanish lyrics. There are a lot of lovely balads, and faster, Ricky Martin type songs. With the same producer as Luis Miguel, the style is sometimes similar to his, but David Bisbal's voice, in my opinion, is a lot more special and draws your attention more. This is a great album, and there is only one song which I would call an obvious "filler". The rest are brilliant.
