I had never come across Lebrun until hearing one of these oboe concertos recently on the radio. They are a wonderful discovery and this is an excellent recording, as well as very good value for 2 CD. The concertos are elegant, lyrical and engaging, losing very little in comparison with the accompanying Mozart. Heinz Holliger and the Camerata Bern give superbly sensitive performances - highly recommended.
