From the Back Cover
Archie has his work cut out if he is to turn the crumbling, debt-ridden Glenbogle Estate into a profitable business which can support his family and the local community. Not only does he have to contend with his ever interfering father and a troubled love life, but Archie also has to deal with the arrival of a hoard of bankers from the estates financial backers.
The appointment of a Head Ranger, a rejected grant application, Mollys gambling debts and Archies 30th birthday all threaten to upset the peace in the Highlands. However, it is the tension between Archie and Katrina which adds a certain spark to much of the activities on the estate.
